It’s been a long time coming, but we finally made it to Wrightsville Beach in Wilmington! I think it’s so far the bluest beach we’ve visited in North Carolina, or maybe it was just that much of a beautiful day. We tried going on Labor Day in 2020 and that was definitely a mistake. We did get to eat at Poe’s Tavern which was delicious! The whole area was insanely overrun, so we ended up driving back to Onslow Beach on base.
Anyway, we finally made it there on the most gorgeous spring day. Although we didn’t get to get to go in the water we didn’t mind. We parked by the Crystal Pier and I got to take photos under it like I’ve been wanting to for years!
^^ the entrance to the pier is next to this restaurant! ^^
^ Spotted a rare US vending machine… they definitely don’t compare to Japanese vending machines though ^
I will be posting our latest North Carolina adventures soon! Stay tuned for more.
