Last weekend there was a day-long power outage where we live… on a SUNDAY! (*ugh*) Thankfully the Okinawa Food Flea was happening the same day 🙂 We left home extra early and arrived there at 11:30. We knew it started at noon but we went to the 2nd one around 3pm and it was absolutely crazy full. At 11:30 there was already tons of people arriving while the booths set up. The first thing we did was get some bacon cheese burgers (and a doughnut!) from Gordies, G got craft beer from Beer Rize and we sat down to enjoy our food. Our friends arrived and we walked around the rest of the booths. We had coffee, beer, burgers, yakitori (grilled chicken), gyros and a fruit smoothie. We did not bring enough money to try it all (sadly) but it was so much fun! I also bumped into a ton of people from instagram!
