Better late than never! I finally was able to sit down and write down my Weekly Wishes.
If you didn’t tune in for last week’s post. My goals were to get out of the house as much as possible, to finish my DIY projects, to blog about them, to apply to some jobs and go to the gym faithfully. Surprisingly i met most of my goals! I went out with my friend Emily a couple of times, we went to the gym four days straight, we ate shaved ice at a lil shack down the road, we went to the pool twice and on thursday we had a whole day out of the house due to a scheduled power outage! (They’re renovating our base) On Saturday I drove up to Ishikawa and took pictures of this beautiful view. I also finally sent out some job applications, three to be precise and i already got two scheduled interviews this week! Hooray! I can definitely say i’m proud of myself for setting some goals and actually following through.
This week i am ‘pet sitting’ for a lovely friend of mine. One thing you should know about me is that i am not a pet person, simply because i’ve never really had a pet. But my friend really needed a hand, so i decided to step up to the plate and offer my help. That cutie in the picture above is Lucy. I will be honest i was a little nervous about ‘pet sitting’ a puppy but to be honest it’s been going pretty well.
My goal for the week is: to do right by this lil puppy and her mama. I’ve definitely learned a lot through this experience and i know i’ll continue to learn more in the next couple of days. G (husband) wants a dog really bad, a dachshund as well, and i feel this is a great way to get taste of what life would be like if we had a pet.
