1. All My Loving – The Beatles (Across the Universe Cover), While Gustavo was in Bootcamp our only way of communication was through letters. He would always quote this song in his letters or on the envelopes. I want to get the name of the song tattooed in my shoulder.
2. Sweet Disposition – Temper Trap, this song brings be back to one of the times Gustavo visited Puerto Rico. We took a road trip to Playa Sucia and the Cabo Rojo Lighthouse. While driving back through the mountains, with all the windows down, wind blowing through our hair, this song came on the radio “and in that moment i swear we were infinite”.
3. Home – Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Gustavo and I always sing this duo at the top of our longs in the car. It always brings the biggest smile to my face.
5. Falling Slowly – Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, When it came time to choose the songs for our wedding i decided i did not want to walk down the aisle to the traditional march, i chose this song because husband and i love this movie. On February 2nd, 2013 i walked down the aisle to a piano cover of this Oscar-Winning song. Every time i listen to it i travel back in time, to the moment i laid eyes on my husband waiting for me at the altar.
6. Little Talks – Of Monsters and Men, This is my jam! I am so obsessed with this song, i think i could listen to it over and over again. This song makes me smile from ear to ear. It makes me so giddy.
