A close friend of ours threw a fun christmas party yesterday for some of the single Marines that work with our husbands. We ate so many baked goodies and watched christmas movies!! It’s always fun to get out of the house and have a good time with friends.. even if we have to be home by 11:00pm (stupid curfew!). The party also landed on the last day of the ‘Mayan Calendar’ when the world was “supposed” to end, so it was sort of an Apocalyptic Party as well, lol!!
i made those turtle cookies from scratch and was so proud of myself because they were so delicious!

It was such a fun night!! It felt especially good to make some baked goodies for the single marines that work with our husbands, they took so many cookies/brownies back to the barracks! Not only are these guys living overseas but they are oceans away from their loved ones during this holiday season and it felt good to see them all have a blast!
Our friends are hosting a Christmas Eve dinner as well, so stay tuned for more pictures of our christmas celebrations 🙂
