Swan Boats at Ueno Park

Posted In: Japan | Japan with Family | Tokyo | Travel

Will you believe me if i tell you these pictures are from almost a year ago?! I have been super caught up blogging about fun Okinawan things or taking time off blogging that i totally forgot about these pictures until now that i find myself with nothing to blog about. When my family came to visit last July they stayed for two and a half weeks in Okinawa and before traveling back to America we took them on a little 3 day trip to Tokyo. We visited the Sensoji Temple, the Tokyo Sky Tree, Ueno Park and Tokyo Disney Sea (i’ve yet to blog the second part of DisneySea).

My brother wanted to visit the Tokyo National Museum at Ueno Park but i didn’t do enough research and when we arrived around 6pm it was already closed. We got some frappuchinos at Starbucks and sat down next to a water fountain to cool off. We explored a little bit of the park and ended the day by riding Swan Boats at Shinobazu Pond.

^^ I love the manhole covers in Japan + I looved this Cocoks pedi so much!! ^^

^^ Strolling around the park during golden hour means sneaking pictures of a model in a Yukata ^^

^^ A sea of lotus plants ^^
