Sadly Starsand Magazine is no longer active *insert crying emoji*. This was a passion project of my friend Maria Johns. She reached out to me in the spring of 2018 because she wanted to feature one of my blogposts on the first issue. After flipping through that issue I inserted myself into her project, because I loved the idea of the magazine so much. I had some experience working with Canva, needed a creative outlet, and after almost 6 years on island I knew that I could offer some great insight for newcomers, which was the goal of the magazine. I had so much fun putting together every issue and writing fun articles! I miss it so much but love being able to look back on the work we did.
