Hello and welcome to Weekly Wishes!! an awesome link-up created by Melyssa from The Nectar Collective, as a way to breakdown our own goals/wishes for the week, as well as share positivity and motivation to others. I think the idea of creating some goals/wishes before the week begins is a great way to start fresh and with a focused mindset. After my previous entries (here) i noticed that blogging about it definitely pushes me to reach my goals by the end of the week and the sense of satisfaction at the finish line feels pretty darn good. Sharing the goals i met at the end of the week definitely keeps me coming back for more.
Last week’s goal was: to finish what i’ve started. I finished/sent out the Order Form for the Blog Design i won from Bumble & Buzz Design ( I am sooo excited for this!!). I also found the last can of spray paint i needed at the BX!!!! I spent my friday afternoon spray painting the back side of the base and touching up the designs, but then i noticed i was out of white acrylic paint, meaning i wasn’t able to finish the touch ups :((. I did not work on the new blog series, but i did launch (on a whim) Pin-Spiration Thursdays a new blog series where i share my weekly inspiration through my favorite pins! I also did not repot my cactus, i did put the smaller pot on the new one, so it kinda looks like i did.
This week’s goal is: to work really hard! I just started working yesterday!! (Can i get a Woop, Woop!) haha! After being in Okinawa for 11 months, i finally got a job!!! I’m feeling blessed, even if it pays minimum wage and it’s not my ideal job, it’s a start. I want to work really hard to learn all the ropes this week. I also want to write a post on transitioning from being job-less for a year, to being a working woman in a foreign country! I’ll probably wait a coupld of weeks before writing anything, but i want to start taking notes.
