Hello and welcome to Weekly Wishes!! an awesome link-up created by Melyssa from The Nectar Collective, as a way to breakdown our own goals/wishes for the week, as well as share positivity and motivation to others. I think the idea of creating some goals/wishes before the week begins is a great way to start fresh and with a focused mindset. After my previous entries (here, here, here, here, here) i noticed that blogging about it definitely pushes me to reach my goals by the end of the week and the sense of satisfaction at the finish line feels pretty darn good. Sharing the goals i met at the end of the week definitely keeps me coming back for more.
Last week’s goal was: to work on chores. While pondering over what to choose as my weekly goal, i noticed our apartment was a MESS! I can proudly say that i rocked last week’s goal! I cleared out all of our recycling from the kitchen counters and took it out, i dusted our tv/table, i cleared out the mess that was on top of our dining room table, i FINALLY finished all of the multiple loads of laundry that were just hanging out in our spare bedroom and i also took time to clean the floors. Hooray for a goal met!
This week’s goal is: to finish what i’ve started. (1) I need to finish writing the Order Form for the Blog Design i won last week on a giveaway by the lovely Melyssa from The Nectar Collective, it’s so hard to make decisions on how i want my blog to look like. (2) I just moved an idea from my head to my notebook last night for a new blog series and i want to work on it this week, that way i can start reaching out/emailing other bloggers, in order to give it a go! (3) I’m also planning a trip to the BX on the Airforce base, i’m hoping they have re-stocked on orange spray paint so i can finish this darn DIY i am dying to share with you!! (4) I also want to re-pot the cute cactus i bought a month ago!
I am finally ordering my return address stamp on Etsy this week! Which means our thank you cards will be sent out as soon as i receive it! 🙂
