Hello and welcome to Weekly Wishes!! an awesome link-up created by Melyssa from The Nectar Collective, as a way to breakdown our own goals/wishes for the week, as well as share positivity and motivation to others. I think the idea of creating some goals/wishes before the week begins is a great way to start fresh and with a focused mindset. After my previous entries (here, here, here) i noticed that blogging about it definitely pushes me to reach my goals by the end of the week and the sense of satisfaction at the finish line feels pretty darn good. Sharing the goals i met at the end of the week definitely keeps me coming back for more.
Last week’s goal was: to finish two of my unfinished DIY projects. I finished only one DIY project. I modge podge’d some pretty scrapbook papers to some canvas panels and i hung my collage on one of our living room walls. I was unable to finish my picture frame collage because i decided to add some little knick knacks to the collage, art prints, signs, etc. I think it will look more put together if it has other things besides just pictures. I went searching for that last can of orange spray paint i need but they were still out of stock, which meant i was unable to finish my TV tray DIY as well.
This week’s goal is: to write and send off our wedding thank you cards! I finally sat down and ordered them last month, and i just received them last week in the mail. I already have written the message i will be sending to our wedding guests, i just need to sit down and fill out all of the cards. I may not send them by the end of the week because i am thinking of getting a ‘return address stamp’ from Etsy, but i want to fill them out a.s.a.p.
Especially because i already have a post ready for publishing but i’m holding off until our friends/family receive them.
