During the past couple of weeks i’ve been obsessing about my living room. We finally have real furniture (bye, bye – government furniture)! A big grey/black sectional, a huge TV with a pretty stand and a beautiful blue entry table from Thailand. I’ve been trying to figure out how to decorate it for quite some time and i finally decided on colors. Blues, Oranges, Yellows & Pinks. I feel like these colors would definitely make our home feel lively. I already have some ideas for the walls and i can’t really execute them until there’s more money in our pockets or until i find supplies. This is probably the only time when living abroad sucks. I wish i could walk into Target/Michael’s/HobbyLobby and get all i need for good prices. These ideas will come to life slowly, but i promise to tell you guys all about it when they’re done.
I’ve been thinking about throw pillows a lot, simply because they are a cheap way of bringing more color to a room without having to put lots of money into it. Admist all my online shopping (more like window shopping) i found Society6, and what a lovely website!! They specialize on taking artists artworks and transferring them into: canvases, art prints, t-shirts, hoodies, throw pillows, tote bags, iphone cases, ipad cases, laptop skins and stationary cards.
