Living in government housing means theres very little creative home decor ideas you can actually pull off. The apartment isn’t yours so obviously you have to leave it the same way you found it, no paint, the less holes the better, etc. Plus moving every couple of years makes you want to not go all out with your home decor.
Since moving into our new apartment i’ve been looking to make it feel homier by changing up our furniture, actually putting things up on the walls and just giving more thought to our living space. One of the things i’m excited about using is washi tape, especially because there are a million ways to use it without leaving a trace! I’m especially drawn to the x-large rolls i’ve seen for walls and i’m thinking of making one of our living room walls pop with some stripes!
What better way to make your house a little brighter than with fun printed japanese tape?
Q: What have you used washi tape for? Leave me ideas in the comment box 😉
