Busena Marine Park

Posted In: Okinawa

One of the last Oki adventures that I brought my big camera out to was our afternoon at the Busena Marine Park, inside the Busena Terrace Beach Resort in Nago. We went with our neighbors and their two kiddos for the glass-bottom boat tour and the underwater observatory! The day was absolutely perfect and all of the greens and blues in these photos make me miss Okinawa so much.

We got tickets to both things at a booth close to the parking lot, tickets were ¥2,060 and I believe they offer a discount for military members. We did the glass-bottom boat tour first and then walked over to the underwater observatory. I have a slight fish phobia so it was fun to see the fish swim and the beautiful coral underwater while not fearing for my life, lol!

^^ wish I could run and jump in that gorgeous clear turquoise water ^^

^ Easily the closest I’ll ever be to fish… I have a slight phobia so this was cool ^

We ended the day with a Sparky Burger from Captain Kangaroo and sadly it wasn’t even that good. We suspect they changed the recipe or something and it was quite sad.
