Since the moment i started researching weddings i knew it wanted a vintage wedding look. I daydreamed about gorgeous wedding for months on end. Last summer i flew to Miami with my mom and our wedding planner in search of my wedding dress, as well as our decorations. We thrifted most of the decorations and the rest we bought at Homegoods/TJMaxx/Marshall’s. We were so proud of our purchases and at that moment i knew that my dream was slowly coming together! I was so excited that i even wanted to be at our reception venue to help decorate the day of, but of course that wasn’t going to happen.
Typewriters, Par Avion Airmail, Pearls, Vintage Suitcases, Books and Wildflowers were our inspiration!
^^ ignore that ugly chair on the left ^^^^ also ignore the fact that the G is upside down… *sighs* ^^
Note: Not all of the table centerpieces are photographed, as well as a corner that was full with suitcases and world globes.
After we got our pictures taken we made our way to our reception venue. While our guests were eating Hors d’oeuvres and drinking delicious Sangria, we walked into the ballroom and our mouth’s just dropped!! Everything was more beautiful than i ever expected. You see, in Puerto Rico people tend to be more traditional when it comes to weddings so everybody… wedding planner, photographer, venue employees and guests were all excited with my idea of a vintage, bohemian style wedding and it was just perfect! I will be forever grateful to our amazing wedding planner for putting all of my ideas together so beautifully.
