Meet Alyssa the fashionable lady behind The Fab Broke Life. She’s a senior at Salisbury University, majoring in communication arts with a track in journalism and public relations, and minoring in marketing management. You can count on her blog to bring you all the best in music, art, beauty, fashion, among other fun things!
1. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging because it became a way for me to express myself. I’ve always been a writer for as long as I could remember and it’s a fun hobby to meet new people, be creative, and document my life as a young adult growing up.
2. Describe your blog in three words.
Eclectic, positive, relatable.
3. What inspires you most?
What inspires me most are the things people my age usually don’t take the time to appreciate. Art, nature, historical landmarks, history in general, people, trying new things.
4. What is your ideal outfit? Like something you would wear everyday if you could.
This is a hard question (lol) but it could probably be ankle trousers or jeans, any top from Forever 21’s Love 21 collection, and a comfortable pair of heels or flats from Zara.
5. Where do you see yourself after getting your bachelor’s degree?
After getting my bachelor’s degree, I see myself getting a job in Washington, D.C. either writing for The Washington Post lifestyle section, working for a PR firm or working for a Marketing firm (fingers crossed). I hope to find a nice apartment or condo right in the city with some of my best friends as roommates and enjoy the city life I’ve always wanted to live.
