#WhenInHongKong♡

If you follow me on Instagram (if not, follow me!) you probably saw me spamming your feed with travel pictures!! I have been wanting to go on a trip for months and because G’s work schedule didn’t allow him to take time off, my friends Katie, Chaelyn and I decided to plan a girl’s trip to Hong Kong. We travelled via Hong Kong Airlines and spent three full days exploring this magnificent city. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, how easy it was to navigate, how many foreigners we saw, how everyone spoke English, how many healthy food options were available, how the British influences mixed with Asian ones made it such a unique city and so much more!

Here’s an Insta sneak peek of our trip:

We got back from our trip Friday afternoon and were suuuper lucky that Typhoon Soudelor decided to go south and miss Okinawa. (Although i was kind of hoping we would get an extra day in Hong Kong, lol!) Would you believe me if i tell you we flew over it? It was still sunny and calm until about 10 minutes before landing!! Okinawa was still getting some wind from the outerbands of the typhoon so it was a bumpy landing, but thankfully we made it back safely. Phew!

Stay tuned for tons of (nice camera) pictures from our trip!!
