Hong Kong

Tian Tan Buddha

Posted In: Hong Kong | Travel

After waiting in line for TWO hours to take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, we finally made it to the Ngong Ping Village! We had a quick lunch at one of the restaurants near the cable car station, accompanied by some Chinese beer and then we were off to visit the Tian Tan Buddha. Also known as the Big Buddha, this is one of the largest bronze statues of Buddha. The Po Lin Monestary is also in the Village, but we sadly weren’t able to make it.
