If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw pictures here and there of the lovely Penny, the cute dachshund we pet-sitted for two weeks while her parents, our very good friends, vacationed in Italy. This pretty lady stole my heart and after we gave her back the house felt so empty!! I thought i would share some cute pictures i took of her during her stay with us and then i’ll add the story behind the picture. We are wanting a dachshund of our own now, but we will probably wait a while before committing, maybe when we go back to the States or when we have some savings!

1. She loved to keep me company while i cooked, she would hang out in our kitchen rug.
2. She could be a dog model, i mean look at that cute face!
3-4. She is the ultimate cuddle bug.
5. One bed is never enough! She barely fit in that small bed when her parents got her! 🙂
6. She would get sooo excited when G got home from work.
7-8. She would follow me to the bathroom and either stare at me or get up and look at the water.
9. We had to bathe her one day because she decided to roll around in her own poop (FUN!).
10. G played so much with her and got her into biting again.. Sorry Elana!
11. Look at her WINK! (ps. theres a sneak peek of my TV tray DIY!)
12. Every night/morning i would have to give her some loving as she tried to jump
and get in bed, after i would pet her she would go back and lay in her own bed.
ps. Look at all the goodies our friends got us in Capri!!!! They went with the lemon theme 🙂 and we loved EVERYTHING! We are so happy to have them back! The weekends aren’t the same without them.
