Ngong Ping 360

Posted In: Hong Kong | Travel

One of the things I was most excited about doing in Hong Kong was going on the Ngong Ping 360° cable car in Lantau Island, ending at Ngong Ping Village where the Tian Tan Buddha and the Po Lin Monestary are located. We stood in line for two hours (UGH!) and even though it ruined our plans for the rest of the day, as well as our Macau plans; it was worth it. The cable cars were bigger and steadier than the ones at the Maokong Gondola, but you didn’t get a private car, so you had to share with strangers. The views were absolutely amazing and these pictures totally don’t do it justice!
