New Year’s Resolutions: 2014

Posted In: New Years

I just found last year’s New Years Resolutions and it feels good seeing what i accomplished this year and a little wake up call seeing the goals i slacked at. I decided to stick with the same type of categories as last year. Here it is.

fitness (the cliché resolution.. again) – i worked on this resolution for a good six months in 2013, but then i got a job and became lazy about working out. They just opened a little gym where we live and i want to try and make some time for little workouts, even if it’s just running a couple of times a week.

adventure – i’m really proud of how much we explored this year and i want to continue this in 2014 by checking things off my Year 2 Bucket List. We haven’t explore as much in the last couple of weeks and i want this to change.

photography – i just purchased a tutorial on Black Friday and i still haven’t taken the time to learn more

about the manual settings of my camera. I want to learn all there is to know for personal reasons, as well as blogging reasons.

beauty – i am planning on going No-Poo this year, or at least giving it a try. I’ve always had itchy-dry scalp and i’m hoping this fixes the problem once and for all. I’ll probably be sharing my experience, so stay tuned.

saving – in three months we saved enough for our trip to mainland Japan and i want us to work on saving like that this year. I want us to travel as much as we can in 2014!! I’m already planning a trip to see the cherry blossoms in the Spring.

reading – I’ve been an avid reader for quite sometime, but in 2013 i suddenly stopped reading. I want to make time for reading. In the spirit of following through with this resolution, i want to read the whole Harry Potter series. I only read half of the first book when i was in 7th grade, and somehow never really felt the need to read the series. My husband has all of the books so why not!

blogging – this year has been big for this little blog!! In 2014 i want my writing, my topics, my photography, my editing, my photoshopping skills to continue to grow with the blog.

New Year’s Resolutions are kind of old school and a little stupid but i really liked looking back at my goals at the end of the year. Q: If you’re weird like me and have a list of resolutions i’d love to read about them! Why not share them below!!

See Ya 2013 and Hello 2014!
