Lovely Corners #1

After spending some quality time with family and friends back in Puerto Rico, our vacation has officially ended and after a long day of travel we are finally home. Let me just say that our wedding was amazing!! definitely way better than anything i had imagined and i seriously can’t wait to tell you guys all about it. In a month (more or less) i will get to see the wedding photography samples, i am dying to see them and show you guys.
All of our decorations were thrifted in Miami for less than $300 and of course i brought an extra suitcase to take back most of the decorations with me to Japan. Gustavo was so impressed by the wedding decorations that he wanted me to take every single item back to Japan with us (lol), let’s just say he’s as excited as i am to start decorating our home.  I was able to fit most of the things i really wanted to bring with me but my mom will have to ship some as well. These are the ‘knick knacks’ i was talking about in the Make this Place our Home post. While unpacking the suitcase and putting everything away, i decided to keep some things in display. I hope you enjoy these little corners of our home.
(this is the result of the craft i was talking about in my previous post, what do you think?)
this is just a sneak peek about what’s to come! 🙂

DIY: Easy Key Art

We recently moved out of our first apartment, to a renovated unit down the street. Our new apartment is much nicer and easier to decorate, because our old one was totally built in the 70s….

DIY: TV tray Makeover

Slowly but surely we are making our apartment feel like a home and with help from a few DIY’s our living room is looking a lot more colorful and inviting! My friend Heather painted her…

  • Luv It! I'm glad you and Gustavo enjoyed your wedding and that it was more than what you guys expected. Everything was done with lots of love and sacrifice because I knew that this was the last gift I could give you before handing you over to Gustavo and I wanted it to be special! I'm happy and I'm sad because I miss you already! May GOD bless your marriage every day of your life! Love, Mom
