Good news it is

Excuse my tardiness, but after a whole month of taking a summer class and working my ass off, i am finally on vacation! I spent three days in Miami wedding shopping/thrifting and now i am in Jacksonville, NC with my husband :). I am making time for blogging now because he’s off to work.
But before i post about my vacation, i would like to announce some news.
Two or three weeks ago we got news about a possible PCS (Permanent Change of Station) to Okinawa, Japan. He was added on to the list during the month he was home, days before we got married, mainly because of the fact that he still appeared “single” in the system.

These were the possible outcomes:
1. He could be going alone. 2. I could be going with him. 3. He would be taken off the list.
in 2 out of 3, our lives would be altered and our plans would change, then in 1 out of 3, our plans would stay intact.

After getting the news, there were a couple of weeks filled with anxiety.
But in the end we got as good of news as we could’ve gotten.

..
(drum roll, please)

WE ARE GOING TO OKINAWA!!!!
(here are some pictures of our lovely future home)
Aerial Shot of Okinawa
Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
This is only the first step of our adventure, now comes tons of paperwork, medical checkups, shots, more paperwork and lots of excitement/anxiety. I am here in NC for three weeks in order to get all of this taken care of, i pray that everything goes smoothly.
Husband will be leaving in about a month and we’re still not sure when i’ll be joining him, *sighs*.
Stay tuned for more news on our adventures.
xoxo,
misslora
