Concrete Jungle – Tokyo Sky Tree

On our second day in Tokyo we visited some of our favorite sites, the first being the Tokyo Sky Tree. When we visited the city in December 2013 we made a stop at the Sky Tree after visiting the Sensoji Temple. We shopped at the mall on the ground floor but we ended up deciding not to go up because we thought it was kind of pricy, and to be honest i kind of regreted it, so we knew this time it was a must. The altitude did get to me but i managed to take some pictures of the concrete jungle that is Tokyo.

^^ i spy the Asahi Golden Flame ^^

^^ this monitor had an interactive photograph of the view and it was fun to be able to zoom in ^^

These posts are super late but the crazy work is dying down and i finally have a chance to sit down and edit these. Enjoy.

We loved the Skytree! The line was super crazy, but the views were so worth it!

  • I feel like visiting the stalled building/observation deck in any major city is a must at least once 🙂 this is cool for me because I can spot the Sensoji Temple we were right by when we visited! we didn't have time for the sky tree – maybe someday!
