It’s safe to say i have babies on my mind, but not because we’re planning on having them any time soon, but because everybody around me is either a soon-to-be mommy or already a mama. Everybody is pregnant here, i kid you not, people call the tour in Okinawa a “two baby tour”. If you follow me on Pinterest you’ve probably seen me pin a million pictures of adorable nurseries, photographs of newborns and little families. I just can’t help but feel inspired by what surrounds me.
I guess i am in that place in life where i find myself married, like most of my friends, and some of them have decided to start their own little families. I’ve never spent that much time around small kids or babies but this last year i have seen a couple of my friends become moms and dads, and their little babies growing a little everyday. It is seriously the most precious thing and i can’t wait until i get to experience this with G. Although it seems like everybody is having babies we have decided to wait a couple of years, you know to really enjoy married life. We want to travel, grow our savings and find our place in the world before we become parents. For now we are living vicariously through our friends and we’ve certainly enjoyed spoiling them.
