2014 Blogging Goals!!

Posted In: Blogging | New Years

1.  Bloglovin’ – Not all of the blogs i read are on Google Friend Connect, which means i don’t read them as often as i would like. Everyone is on Bloglovin’ and i really want to make a habit out of visiting the website everyday.

2. Giveaways – I still haven’t had any giveaways on my blog. I have some ideas for some awesome giveaways i would like to work on this year.

3. Social Media – I haven’t been advertising my posts that well this year and i want to change that in the new year. I also want to use my Facebook Page for more than just sharing posts and instapics.

4. Sponsorships – I just started offering ad spots on my sidebar this year and slowly but surely they’ve grown. With trial and error i want to learn the best ways to work with my sponsors.

5. Comments – Like i said above, this year i want to read my favorite blogs regularly, but not only that, i want to reach out and connect through comments. I haven’t been commenting that much lately and i know that if i want people to comment on my posts i have to return the favor and show them some love too.

6. Organize – My new planner hasn’t been put to use as well as i would’ve liked this year. I want to write everything down, post ideas, sponsorship info, to do lists, etc.

7. Editorial Calendar – Everyone in the blogosphere has been talking about how helpful it is to have an editorial calendar. I would like to start thinking ahead, planning posts better and not procrastinating as much. If i want this little blog of mine to be successful i need to work, work, work.

8. Content – This year i want my content to grow and to achieve this i need to go outside my comfort zone and find new things to share with the world. I would also like it to be more consistent! In 2013 i hit the publish button 172 times! I would love to go over 200 in the New Year!

9. Weekly Wishes – The best way to reach your long term goals is by working on them daily. I want to get back into the Weekly Wishes swing. I haven’t  participated since October and i feel this would be the perfect way to remind myself of my goals this year.
